BOOK YOUR PLACE FOR THE "HOW TO SUCCESSFULLY ENGAGE WITH THE MEDIA" WORKSHOP

Join us on 13 May 2025 for an interactive online workshop designed to help researchers effectively engage with the media and communicate their science with confidence.
This media skills workshop will be held twice on Tuesday 13 May 2025 to cover different time zones. You will be able to choose your preferred option during the booking stage.
Session 1: 13 May 2025 from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm (UK time)
Session 2: 13 May 2025 from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm (UK time)
The participants will gain practical insights into working with journalists, crafting clear and compelling messages, and handling interviews with ease.
Hosted by two media communication experts: Nadine Dereza, an international broadcaster and award winning journalist; and Ross Edmonds, Communications Director at Babaco Media, specialists in preparing clients for media interviews and crisis planning.
Through hands-on exercises and expert guidance, you will develop the skills needed to share your research with the wider public while maintaining accuracy and impact.
These techniques are also valuable transferable skills for broader science communication and public engagement.
You will need to create and/or log into your SEB account to be able to book this event.
Be aware! This workshop will be delivered via Zoom and won't be recorded.
If you have any question, please e-mail us at [email protected].
We very much look forward to seeing you there.
Best regards,
