REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN FOR EPIPLANT/SEB 2024 JOINT EVENT
EPIPLANT/SEB 2024 will bring together the scientific community working in the broad field of plant epigenetics, chromatin dynamics, environmental responses and transgenerational inheritance.
The event will take place at the CRBC (Centre de Recherche Bio-Clinique) of Clermont-Ferrand, France.
We would like to announce that registration for the EPIPLANT/SEB "Plant Epigenetics" joint event is now open .

CONFERENCE SESSIONS
The conference will start Wednesday, 10th of July at 9am and will finish Friday, 12th of July 2024 at 1pm with lunch.
The conference will comprise five half-day sessions:
1. Chromatin dynamics during plant development
2. Epigenetic regulation of repetitive elements
3. Chromatin in transcription, replication and repair
4. Dissecting molecular mechanisms of gene expression control using epigenomics
5. Epigenetic responses to environmental changes

PRACTICAL INFORMATION
Clermont-Ferrand has a local airport that is served by a few planes per day from Paris, Charles-de-Gaulle airport.
The closest bigger airport to Clermont-Ferrand with more international connections is Lyon-Saint Exupéry Airport. From Lyon airport you can join Clermont-Ferrand by taking the Rhone Express to the train station Lyon Part Dieu and a train (SNCF, TER) to Clermont-Ferrand.
Alternatively, Lyon airport is also served by Flixbus and Blablacar that stop at Place Gambetta-Les Salins close to the center of Clermont-Ferrand, where you have connection with Tram A and several buses (see below) to reach the conference venue.
TRAVEL GRANT
Please note that SEB are able to offer a number of travel grant opportunities for student and early career scientist members of the SEB to attend the conference.
COMPANY OF BIOLOGISTS TRAVEL GRANT
SEB student and early career scientist members can apply for up to £500 to support their travel to conferences, career workshops, research trips, and laboratory visits.
This funding has now been extended to include registration fees for online events.
You can apply here for the Company of Biologists travel grant on a quarterly basis and the application deadline for a CoB grant to attend "EPIPLANT/SEB 2024" is 31 March 2024.
