ECR NETWORKING EVENING

We are delighted to invite ECR’s to join us for an informal evening event where we will bring together early career researchers from across the animal, plant and cell biology sections.

Arranged the evening before the official start of the Annual Conference, the event presents an opportunity to meet with people at a similar career stage, offering a platform to network and form new connections, whether you are attending with your lab group or are coming alone.

Please note that PhD students can also attend.

PRAGUE ON SITE MEETING ROOM BOOKING

On-site meeting rooms are available to book at the Clarion Congress Hotel during the Annual Conference from 2 - 5 July 2024.
This is a self-service, online booking system that allows you to book, reschedule and cancel meetings.

ACCOMMODATION AND HOTELS BOOKING

Preferential accommodation rates are available for SEB attendees staying at the Clarion Congress Hotel. The available rates will need to be booked using the direct link found on the SEB website.

We are working in collaboration with hotels within easy traveling distance to the Clarion Congress Hotel.
On the SEB website you will also find information regarding accommodation nearby, also offering a discounted rate to SEB attendees.

CHILDCARE

The SEB is delighted to announce that to make our conference more inclusive we will again be offering a childcare provision at our Prague 2024 Annual Conference.

To provide this facility we will be teaming up with close space Nipperbout an award-winning event childcare company with over 25 years of experience.

The provision will be open to the children of registered delegates, between the ages of 0-12.

MEET OUR PRESIDENT MEDALLISTS

The SEB President's Medals are awarded annually to young scientists of outstanding merit. The awards are presented at the Annual Conference of the Society.

PLENARY LECTURERS

Each year at the Annual Conference of the SEB, the work of George Parker Bidder III and Harold Woolhouse is honoured with plenary lectures alongside the Cell Biology plenary lecture.
