Submit your session proposals for the SEB Annual Conference 2025

The SEB is calling for session proposals for its 2025 Annual Conference—submit by October 1st to shape the future of biological research!

As the end of September approaches, we are thrilled to bring you exciting opportunities within the SEB community.

Please take a moment to explore the following important updates regarding the President's Medal Award, SEB Annual Lecture Awards, and the chance to propose a session at our upcoming annual conference.
 

PROPOSE A SESSION AT THE SEB ANNUAL CONFERENCE IN ANTWERP

There are only a few days left for you to submit a session for the SEB Conference - Antwerp 2025.


ANIMAL SESSION THEMES

The Animal Section would be delighted to receive satellite and session proposals for the main conference at Antwerp 2025. We welcome applications in the following areas but are happy to receive proposals in any area of the Animal Section Interest Groups.

The Animal, Plant and Cell Sections are interested to receive proposals for microbiome-related sessions to promote the latest microbiome research and contemporary techniques.

PRESIDENT'S MEDAL AWARDS

The SEB President's Medals are awarded annually to young scientists of outstanding merit. Nominations are now open for The SEB President's Medals that will be presented at our Annual Conference in Antwerp, Belgium from 8 - 11 July 2025.
 
There is an award for each section (AnimalCellPlant and EOD) and we would like to invite you to submit nominations for suitable candidates using our   simple online form.

Application deadline: 27 September 2024

SEB ANNUAL LECTURE  AWARDS

Each year at the Annual Conference of the SEB, the work of George Parker Bidder III and Harold Woolhouse is honored with plenary lectures alongside the Cell Biology plenary lecture.

Lecturers are given by prominent scientists of outstanding merit who have demonstrated excellence in their fields of research.
